Become an Artist Representative

The NewtonLocke.com Artist Representative Program was created to generate enthusiasm for our artists and company. This program was intended to provide people with as many jobs as possible, and it is very easy to join.
For every book, music or movie that you refer to NewtonLocke.com, we will give you 10% of the total earnings for that particular work. All you have to do is fill out the corresponding contract, have the artist sign in, and mail it to us. And don't worry, you're not taking away any money from the artist, just the company!
So keep your eyes open and who knows, maybe you'll discover the nation's best undiscovered talent.

Working for us is easy.

1. Fill out the contract. As it is a contract, you must be at least 18 years or older to legally sign it. However, if you are older than 15, and are not of legal age yet, we will allow you to co-sign it with a legal parent/guardian.

2. Have the author/band/director sign the contract. Here at NewtonLocke.com, we need to know that whoever you have directed to us is aware and has given you permission to "represent them". This is one of the most important parts and your contract will not be acknowledged if it doesn't have the artist's signature. Remember that your contract will be enacted only after we receive the artist's contract, so it might be easier to sign them all at the same time and submit them together. Please be as accurate as possible as we will send the royalty payments to the address provided.

3. Mail it in and earn 10% of total earnings. There is nothing else for you to do! Obviously, you will share a profit that the work earns (and as mentioned before, you will not be taking a percentage from the artist, you are simply sharing in their success) and spreading the word around will help you earnings. You will be paid four times a year, at the same time as the band, and can spend the rest of your time doing whatever you choose.

FAQs

How many artists can I "represent"? As many as you want! NewtonLocke.com wants you to succeed as much as the artist, and obviously the more artists you "represent" the more money you can potentially make.

Do I need a new contract for every work? Yes! For information purposes we need a different contract for every artist. However, if you have an album for a band, it will only require one (1) contract instead of, say, 12 that it might take for each song. (Specify on the contract or contact us and we can help you). However, when you get paid, in the interest of saving paper, we might send you one check for all your combined payments.

What can I do to get the word out? Obviously, you would need special permission from us for copyright circumstances, but we are really out there to help you. If you want to put your band in a local battle of the bands to spread the word, then all the power to you. But remember, you are privately contracted, and will not receive payment for any additional work. Like in anything, however, the more effort you put in, the more effort you get out.
